My name’s Lina Pio. I’m an Interaction Designer at Skype. I specialise in analysing, pulling apart and redesigning tech such as software and web, with a particular penchant (but not always) in mobile. My specific aim is to understand users to create products which they can use and, more importantly, enjoy.
Just what is it that makes today’s brands so different, so appealing? I believe the answer to this is the experience a user has when they interact with technology. In the west, technology and the software behind it now pervades almost every bit of our lives that it has come to define who we are. So if it’s that important, surely it’s got to be a good experience?
I’ve created this site to put across some of my ideas on the technology around me which I hope you might find interesting. You’ll probably notice that I’m still learning, so if you have any ideas on how I can improve, or think I’ve missed something, please give me a shout!
